Saturday 15th July 2017
Saturday 15th July sees the return of this year’s Bradninch ‘Rocks’ Festival to the Kensham Park football ground and once again we’re offering a packed line-up of music and entertainment for all the family.
Organised by members of the Bradninch Youth Football Club, ‘Rocks’ aims to raise funds to sustain and develop grass-roots football in our community through investment in new equipment and improving club facilities. All profits from Bradninch Rocks go towards developing and maintaining the club for the benefit of not just youth football, but also Bradninch Scouts and other community groups.
This year sees another packed line-up of music from the acoustic stage and the main stage. For the full low–down on the acts performing at ‘Rocks’ 2017, go to our dedicated Music Page.
It’s not all about the music as we have lots of activities planned for the whole family. The bouncy castle is back along with football skills challenges, and other activities. The police will also have their own stall and will be bringing back the hugely popular ‘speed gun run’ so the kids can see who can run the fastest time – endless fun! You won’t go hungry or thirsty either with food from the Hog Roast and Scout’s tent and fully licensed Beer Tent courtesy of The Castle Pub. The Pimms bar went down a storm last year so it returns for 2017. We also have some awesome evening entertainment in form of the Red Barrows Display Team (back by popular demand!) – look out for them during the main band interval.
Ticket prices this year are as follows:
- Adults £15.00 in advance and on the gate
- 15 to 17 year olds £5.00 and must be accompanied by a paying adult
- Under 15’s FREE ENTRY with a paying adult
Tickets will be on sale shortly in Bradninch Spar but you can also purchase in advance online via the ‘Shop Now’ link on the Bradninch Rocks facebook page. Keep up to date with the latest information via the page and ‘LIKE’ us to receive all new updates in the run-up to festival day.
The Bradninch Rocks committee once again extends a massive thanks to our sponsors for their generous support: see our sponsors here. Also, a huge thanks again to local artist/designer Owen Williams for creating this year’s artwork: check out Owen’s Facebook page here.
Bradninch Rocks welcomes all new-comers! If you are new to Bradninch or surrounding area and are thinking of attending for the first time this year then find photos from previous years for a feel of what’s on offer.
We once again give a huge thanks to our sponsors of the event who give generously and help make Bradninch Rocks the great festival it is.
