Words from the Captain
Speaking on last weekends result, Birley said:
“It was a massive three points for us. We defended really well and took our chances when they came about. We’ve been working really hard on different things in training and it’s quite clear that it’s benefiting us on a Saturday.”
When asked about this weekends game, he added:
“We want to make it two on the bounce. And of course continue what is a fine home record over the last year or so. The boys are hungry for another three points so that’s what we have every intention of winning.”
